These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and the operator of Little Dreams ("Little Dreams", "we", "our" or "us").
Little Dreams is operated by Mavbelick, ABN 97 551 721 959.
By downloading, registering for, accessing or using the Little Dreams mobile application, website or associated services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use Little Dreams.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
"App" means the Little Dreams mobile application and any related software supplied by us.
"Account" means a registered Little Dreams user account.
"Child Profile" means a profile created within Little Dreams containing information relating to a child whose sleep or related routines are being recorded.
"Content" means text, images, audio, reports, recommendations, data, graphics and other material made available through Little Dreams.
"Family Access" means functionality that permits an Account owner to share access to a Child Profile or parts of a Child Profile with another authorised person in a role made available by the relevant Subscription.
"Caregiver" means an authorised Family Access user who may be given broader access to Child Profile information and functionality according to the relevant Subscription.
"Support Contact" means an authorised Family Access user with read-only access to selected information made available through Little Dreams and the Account owner's permissions.
"Guidance" means sleep-related information, suggestions, predictions, adaptive plans, recommendations, scores, summaries or other information generated or displayed by Little Dreams.
"LRI" means any Little Dreams readiness, rhythm, recovery, learning or related indicator or score presented within the App.
"Services" means the App and all services, features and functionality made available by Little Dreams.
"Subscription" means any paid Little Dreams plan offered by us, including any Basic or Full plan where available.
"User Data" means information entered, uploaded, generated or stored through your use of Little Dreams.
2. Our contract with you
2.1 These Terms regulate the relationship between you and us when you access or use Little Dreams.
2.2 Your agreement with us begins when you create an Account, or when you first use Little Dreams if registration is not required for the feature you use.
2.3 We may make some Services available free of charge and may charge for other Services or features.
2.4 Little Dreams may offer different levels of access, including Free, Basic and Full plans.
2.5 Features available within each plan may change from time to time. Where Family Access is offered, Caregiver access is available on eligible paid plans and Support Contact access is available only on the Full plan, unless otherwise stated in the App.
2.6 We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary because of changes to:
- the App or Services;
- applicable law;
- security requirements;
- third-party services;
- subscription arrangements; or
- our business operations.
2.7 Where a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
2.8 Your continued use of Little Dreams after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those updated Terms, subject to applicable law.
3. Eligibility and parental responsibility
3.1 Little Dreams is intended to be used by adults responsible for the care of a child.
3.2 You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, to create an Account.
3.3 You must not create or operate a Child Profile unless you are authorised to provide and manage information relating to that child.
3.4 By creating a Child Profile, you represent that you are the child's parent, legal guardian, carer, or otherwise have appropriate authority to enter and manage the child's information.
3.5 You are responsible for deciding whether Little Dreams is appropriate for your child and household.
4. Your Account
4.1 You must provide accurate and current information when creating and maintaining your Account.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials.
4.3 You must notify us promptly if you believe your Account has been accessed without authorisation.
4.4 You are responsible for activities carried out through your Account unless those activities result from circumstances for which we are legally responsible.
4.5 You must not:
- impersonate another person;
- provide deliberately false registration information;
- gain unauthorised access to another Account;
- share login credentials in a way that compromises the security of the Services; or
- use the Services unlawfully.
5. Child information and sleep records
5.1 Little Dreams allows users to record and manage information about a child's sleep and related routines.
5.2 Depending on the features used, this may include information such as:
- name or nickname;
- date of birth or age;
- profile image;
- bedtime;
- wake time;
- naps;
- night waking;
- time in bed;
- sleep duration;
- settling information;
- routines;
- sleep factors;
- medications or medication-related notes entered by the user;
- user observations;
- historical sleep patterns; and
- other information voluntarily entered into the App.
5.3 You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.
5.4 Guidance generated by Little Dreams depends substantially on the information available to the App. Incorrect, incomplete or missing information may result in inaccurate or inappropriate Guidance.
6. Sleep guidance, adaptive plans and LRI
6.1 Little Dreams may analyse User Data and historical sleep information to provide Guidance.
6.2 Guidance may include:
- suggested sleep windows;
- bedtime targets;
- nap targets;
- wake-window guidance;
- adaptive daily plans;
- settling suggestions;
- sleep-factor observations;
- pattern information;
- predictions;
- LRI scores;
- overnight summaries;
- reports;
- personalised explanations; and
- other sleep-related insights.
6.3 Guidance is generated from software rules, statistical analysis, machine-learning systems, artificial intelligence, historical information, current information or a combination of these.
6.4 Little Dreams cannot guarantee that a prediction, sleep window, bedtime, nap recommendation, LRI score or other Guidance will be correct for your child.
6.5 Children's sleep can change because of development, illness, environment, travel, routine, discomfort, medication and many other circumstances that software cannot always detect or properly interpret.
6.6 You should use Guidance as information to assist your own judgement, not as an instruction that must be followed.
7. Not medical advice
7.1 Little Dreams is a sleep-management and informational tool.
7.2 Little Dreams is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict the prognosis of, treat or alleviate disease, injury or a medical condition, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency assistance.
7.3 Information provided through the App should not be used as a substitute for advice from a doctor, paediatrician, pharmacist, sleep specialist or other qualified health professional.
7.4 You must not disregard professional medical advice, delay seeking medical advice, alter prescribed treatment or make medical decisions solely because of information provided by Little Dreams.
7.5 If you are concerned about your child's breathing, responsiveness, health, medication, development, safety or wellbeing, you should seek appropriate professional assistance.
7.6 In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency service for your location.
8. Medication-related information
8.1 Little Dreams may allow you to record medication or medication-related information.
8.2 Any medication functionality is provided as a record-keeping or reminder aid only.
8.3 Little Dreams does not determine whether medication:
- should be given;
- is safe;
- is appropriate;
- should be repeated;
- is correctly dosed; or
- should be combined with another medication.
8.4 You remain responsible for checking medication instructions and obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified health professional.
8.5 A reminder generated by Little Dreams must not be treated as medical authorisation to administer medication.
9. Notifications and reminders
9.1 Little Dreams may provide notifications relating to sleep, routines, medication records, bedtime, morning wake times or other Services.
9.2 Notifications depend on your device, operating system, internet connection, battery settings, permissions and third-party notification services.
9.3 We do not guarantee that any notification will:
- be delivered;
- arrive at a particular time;
- be displayed;
- be audible; or
- remain available.
9.4 You must not rely on Little Dreams notifications where failure or delay could create a risk to health or safety.
10. Family Access and shared profiles
10.1 Family Access is not available on the Free plan. The Basic plan includes Caregiver access. The Full plan includes Caregiver and Support Contact access.
10.2 A Caregiver may be granted broader access to Child Profile information and functionality made available through Family Access.
10.3 A Support Contact is intended to have read-only access to selected information made available by the Account owner. A Support Contact cannot modify sleep records, Child Profiles, family settings or other Account data.
10.4 The Account owner controls who is invited and, where the Services allow, what information a Support Contact may view.
10.5 You must only invite people whom you trust and who are authorised to access information relating to the relevant child.
10.6 You are responsible for reviewing and removing Family Access where it is no longer appropriate. A person receiving Family Access must use information only for legitimate purposes associated with the care or support of the child.
10.7 We may restrict or disable shared access where reasonably necessary for security, privacy, plan-entitlement or legal reasons.
11. Free and paid Services
11.1 Little Dreams may provide Free, Basic and Full levels of service.
11.2 Features included within each level are described in the App or on our website. Free does not include Family Access. Basic includes Caregiver access. Full includes Caregiver and Support Contact access.
11.3 Some functionality may be unavailable, read-only or otherwise restricted unless you hold the Subscription required for that feature.
11.4 We may add, remove or change features in a plan, provided that we comply with any obligations imposed by applicable consumer law.
12. Subscriptions and payment
12.1 Where paid Subscriptions are made available, payment may be processed through Apple App Store, Google Play or another authorised payment provider.
12.2 Your purchase may also be subject to the terms of the relevant payment platform.
12.3 Subscription price, billing interval, trial period, renewal terms and included features will be shown before you purchase.
12.4 Unless stated otherwise, Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.
12.5 You are responsible for cancelling a Subscription through the relevant platform before renewal if you do not wish to continue.
12.6 Deleting your Account or uninstalling Little Dreams does not necessarily cancel an active Subscription. Where a Subscription is billed through Apple App Store, Google Play or another payment provider, you must cancel it through that provider unless the provider states otherwise.
12.7 We do not directly receive your full credit or debit card details where payment is handled by an external app store or payment processor.
13. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
13.1 Refunds are handled in accordance with:
- applicable consumer law;
- the requirements of the platform through which the purchase was made; and
- any refund policy displayed at the time of purchase.
13.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
13.3 Any provision of these Terms that would otherwise unlawfully exclude or restrict such a right is to be read subject to those statutory rights.
14. Licence to use Little Dreams
14.1 Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the App for personal and household purposes.
14.2 You do not acquire ownership of Little Dreams, its software, systems, branding, algorithms or Content merely by using the Services.
14.3 Except where permitted by law, you must not:
- reverse engineer;
- decompile;
- disassemble;
- copy;
- modify;
- reproduce;
- redistribute;
- sell;
- sublicense; or
- commercially exploit the App or its software without our written permission.
15. Intellectual property
15.1 Little Dreams, including its software, interface, designs, graphics, text, algorithms, databases, branding and original Content, is owned by us or licensed to us.
15.2 All intellectual property rights in Little Dreams remain with their respective owners.
15.3 You retain ownership of information and material that you upload or enter into the App.
15.4 You grant us a limited licence to process, store, transmit and otherwise use User Data only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, secure and maintain the Services, comply with law, and perform the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Where information is used for broader research, statistical analysis, algorithm improvement or product development, we will handle it in accordance with the de-identification and research provisions of our Privacy Policy.
16. Acceptable use
You must not use Little Dreams to:
- violate any law;
- infringe another person's rights;
- access another person's information without authority;
- introduce malware or harmful code;
- interfere with the App's operation;
- bypass security controls;
- conduct automated scraping or extraction without permission;
- attempt unauthorised access to our systems;
- abuse, overload or disrupt the Services;
- copy proprietary information for commercial purposes; or
- use Little Dreams in a manner likely to harm another person.
17. Availability of Services
17.1 We aim to keep Little Dreams available and functioning, but continuous availability cannot be guaranteed.
17.2 Services may become unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- software updates;
- outages;
- internet or telecommunications failures;
- cloud service failures;
- third-party service failures;
- device compatibility issues;
- security incidents; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
17.3 We may change, suspend or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary.
18. Data storage and loss
18.1 We take reasonable steps to protect and maintain User Data.
18.2 No electronic storage system can guarantee that information will never be lost, corrupted, delayed or unavailable.
18.3 You should not use Little Dreams as the only permanent repository of information that you consider essential.
18.4 Data handling, storage, retention, deletion and overseas processing are further described in our Privacy Policy.
19. Third-party services
19.1 Little Dreams may rely on third-party infrastructure and services, including services used for:
- authentication;
- cloud hosting;
- databases;
- notifications;
- analytics;
- artificial intelligence;
- subscriptions;
- app distribution; and
- customer support and security services.
19.2 We are not responsible for a third-party service beyond the extent required by applicable law.
19.3 Use of some third-party services may also be subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
20. Disclaimer
20.1 To the extent permitted by law, Little Dreams is provided on an "as available" basis.
20.2 We do not guarantee that:
- the Services will always be uninterrupted or error-free;
- sleep predictions will be correct;
- recommendations will produce a particular sleep outcome;
- a child will sleep for a predicted duration;
- LRI or other scores will accurately represent a child's wellbeing or future sleep;
- User Data will always synchronise immediately across devices; or
- every notification will be delivered.
20.3 Individual results will vary.
21. Limitation of liability
21.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
21.2 Subject to clause 21.1 and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Little Dreams.
21.3 Little Dreams is not designed for emergency, medical or other safety-critical decision-making. You should not rely on the Services where an error, delay or failure could reasonably create a risk of death, personal injury or serious harm. This clause does not exclude or limit any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
21.4 Where applicable law permits us to limit liability for a failure to comply with a statutory guarantee, our liability will be limited in the manner permitted by that law.
22. Account suspension and termination
22.1 You may stop using Little Dreams at any time.
22.2 You may request deletion of your Account in accordance with the functionality provided in the App or our Privacy Policy.
22.3 We may suspend or terminate an Account where reasonably necessary because of:
- serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
- unlawful use;
- fraud;
- security risks;
- misuse of another person's information; or
- circumstances where we are legally required to do so.
22.4 Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice before termination.
22.5 Termination does not affect rights or obligations that accrued before termination.
23. Deletion of information
23.1 Account deletion does not necessarily result in the instantaneous deletion of every copy of information.
23.2 Information may remain temporarily in:
- backups;
- security logs;
- transaction records; or
- records we are legally required to retain.
23.3 Our Privacy Policy explains our approach to deletion and retention in more detail.
24. Feedback
24.1 You may provide comments, suggestions or feedback about Little Dreams.
24.2 You agree that we may use general ideas and suggestions provided through feedback to improve Little Dreams.
24.3 This clause does not give us ownership of your personal information or privately stored child information.
25. Changes to Little Dreams
25.1 Little Dreams is an evolving service.
25.2 We may update the App, user interface, algorithms, Guidance, features or supporting infrastructure.
25.3 Updates may change how existing functionality operates.
25.4 We may require installation of an updated App version for security or compatibility reasons.

27. Dispute resolution
27.1 If a dispute arises, both parties should first attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.
27.2 Nothing in this clause prevents either party from exercising rights available under consumer protection legislation or applying to a court or tribunal where legally entitled to do so.
28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down to the minimum extent necessary or severed, without affecting the remainder of the Terms.
29. No waiver
A failure or delay in enforcing a right under these Terms does not waive that right.
30. Assignment
You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent.
We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a legitimate sale, restructure or transfer of the Little Dreams business, subject to applicable law.
31. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
The parties submit to the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction in Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers in another jurisdiction.
